Try and put them back in often they will get jammed and not slide back into place. The fan intake filter screens clog quickly if you livein a dusty home and you will need to clean them every couple of weeks.Plus the optional 120mm fan mount on the side internaly if used will get in the way of most tall graphic cards or internal water cooler rigging. This will have been my fifth build over the last 12 years and this case was an absolute dream to assemble with only a couple drawbacks. It speaks "Look at me" if you go with a blue theme it is wild to look at.As for features I liked the placement of the front ports and the top recessed tray is handy to lay little thing in.This case is basically solid construction but i found the the pull out fan drive cages are a pain to pull out. Such was my problem but i just reversed the fan mount to outside the case and installed a fan grille. It is sweet to look at in the dark but i will say it is loud like a fan running in the summer time.I still love this case.
Putting it together wasn't as easy as I would have liked, but otherwise this is an excellent case.
The big boy fan on top and the other fans keep the computer very cool, but they are also surprisingly quiet. The bottom mounting for power supply makes sense; I always hated having power cables hang down and interfere with case fans and other things. The IO port on top is handy for plugging in usb, firewire or audio devices.
Still a good case and not too expensive. The little "ipod shelf" (or whatever you want to call it) is also a nice bonus.I had a couple small complaints.
And the case comes with blue lights pre-installed around the front and back fans, and the case looks good. And the top panel had only 2 usb ports; I would have liked at least 4 ports.
This is one of the best case designs I have ever seen. The fully customizable drive bays are designed well, allowing for many different configurations.
There are no air filters to control dust.
I built a new system for my son with this case. I was able to install 2 DVD drives; a floppy drive; 3 hard drives; and a video card with no problems. The best part about this case is that my son likes to see all the colors and then fans moving.
Also cable management can be a bit difficult in the Antec 900 but manageable. This system runs very cool even after moderate over clocking. Even after moderate use, this case tends to accumulate dust very quickly due to excellent ventilation that the case provides. After reading a few reviews, I decided to get this case and I was not disappointed. Overall though, this case is well built and well designed and fulfills its intended purpose to keep your system components cool. I have seen in other reviews that the 200 mm fan blades are brittle so, I took extra care of avoiding them while installing the components.
I had to purchase two 120 mm aluminum fan filters and install them on the two hard drive cages to help minimize dust getting on the inside. Overall i recommend this case because it does exactly what it was designed to do, keep your computer components running cool. I recently purchased the i5 750 with an Nvidia 260 gtx with the P55 mobo. One thing i didn't like is that this unit was not designed with filters.
